Updated to use the latest version.
Using the ChessFlash PGN Viewer is very straight-forward. To load the game into the viewer click the "Click to Play" button.

When the game is loaded you can use the forward arrow below the board to scroll through the main line one move at a time. Initially, the forward arrow has the "focus" (yellow box). When it has the focus pressing the space bar will also move forward one move. The back arrow backs up one move at a time. Clicking the back arrow changes the focus to the back arrow button. When the back arrow button has the focus, pressing the space bar backs up one move at a time.

To see a position from a variation other than the mainline click the text of the variation in the MoveText area (to the right of the board). Now the arrows under the board scroll through that variation only. To return to the main line click a move in the main line in the MoveText area.

To flip the board perspective click the flip button (up and down arrows) under the board. The rightmost widget under the board is the side-to-move indicator and changes color with each move scrolled through.

chess board is too small

I think many people don't like the small size of the chessboards in general. But no developer
cares about that. I personally dislike small chess boards too as it is very hard to see the position
clearly.
Chess viewers should be programmed for the visitors of websites (chessplayers) and not for webmasters who have no idea what chessplayers want and need.

The chess pieces should be more simple (like in a chess-club) and not of complicated design as those are not to the taste of real chessplayers as they make it harder to look at a position.

Chess Pieces in chess tournaments and chess clubs are of simple design. The same principles should be applied here in the development of chess viewers!
