ChessFlash has some publishing options to control the colors and layout of the Viewer. Here in the gallery we'll show the effect of different publishing options.
When the Viewer is displayed in your web page or blog it will automatically detect the colors to use for its background and the dark squares of the chessboard based on the colors in your blog. You can override that to specify colors of your choosing.
The ChessFlash Viewer with all default publishing values selected looks like:
Notice that it includes a link to download the PGN file and a "plus sign" you can click to open up the game.
This may appear a little different when published on your blog. The default width is 100% so this stretches to use all of the available horizontal space available. If the space available in your blog is less than here it will appear narrower. The background here is white so the background color used is automatically white -- that may be different in your blog. The "dark" color (the squares and moves header area) is green -- that may be different in your blog. The publishing values used (all defaults) are:
